New Balance 769 Women's Running Shoes

The New Balance 769 arrived just in time when I needed a replacement for my old running shoe which was the New Balance 760 and here is my New Balance 760 review. There was the 766, 767 and 768 in-between which were all award winners but I had three pairs of New Balance 760s to use and wear out so I had no reason to buy them despite the overwhelming temptation. Now that all three pairs have served me well enough, I was just about ready to order what I thought was the latest in the series which is the NB 768. To my pleasant surprise, a newer version which is the New Balance 769 is now available.

Well I can definitely say that New Balance is definitely tops for continuously improving their product. I was so satisfied with the New Balance 760 with its toe area being a bit more spacious and wider. Well, I also learned that you call this specs as "wide toe box" which was one of the reasons why I stocked-up on three pairs of NB 760s. I never had issues about my feet getting sore from wearing them and it was roomy enough for wearing thick absorbent socks to prevent sweaty feet. Although I sometimes wished it didn't always have to be thick socks.

Now that's what thing new with the New Balance 769, it contains layers of cushioning that provides maximum cushioning capacity that offers protection not only from the harsh impacts of heel strikes. It's a combination of all the New Balance Absorb technologies which includes the anti-microbe treatment.

I'm the type who's hard-to-fit when it comes to shoe sizes; but New Balance running shoe is never a let down for my running issues. Actually I have normal feet, normal width, normal length and normal gait but what's not normal are the under sole hard calluses or bunions I developed for wearing high-heeled pumps for the office. They don't bother me pretty much if I wear stockings wit my pumps on. The discomfort only crops up during running since there's something with the way I take-off with my toes that distresses my bunions.

Now here is what is really new with New Balance 769 and it made my running-life easier with the improvement that was made on the blown rubber soles. There are now flex grooves in it. This flex grooves as I discovered, went along with how I made natural movements in my forefoot. There is now lesser pressure on my calluses as I made my propulsion from heel strike to toe take-off. The NB 760s were quite on the stiff side, but because I was wearing thick socks and it had extra cushioning didn't bother me much. In addition, it was outfitted with the SL-1 lasts which allowed a lot of room in the toe box area.

The New Balance 769 has a new kind of lasts which they call PL-1 and this somehow created a snug-fit in the toe box area despite its width. My feet could still flex when inside but the outsole seemed to move along with the flexing movement.

Now If I bought three pairs of NB 760s before, I've a mind to do the same with the New Balance 769. I already bought one pair extra but still waiting for other colors to come up before buying the second extra pair. Three pairs of New Balance 769 would be good enough to last me about a thousand running miles before they come up with another innovation.
