New Balance 1063 Review

I bought a pair of New Balance 1063 sneakers from Joe's New Balance Outlet in December and this is my New Balance 1063 Revuew : I bought them because of the lavish praise bestowed by the running magazines. I spent quite some time investigating sneakers, as I wanted a stable, reliable product for everyday use walking my dog. I am 58, I walk my dog (Pug) daily, we walk about 2 miles, and sometimes we jog. Pugsley is a small dog, so we never get too extreme. I would think that this kind of wear would not trigger a failure. Joe's New Balance Outlet told me that they were poorly fitted and laced improperly. I relied on the local New Balance retail store to fit the shoe, not once, but three times to be completely sure – during which time they demonstrated proper lacing techniques, which I employed as demonstrated. By May, I began to notice that the inside fabric wore through to the support structure. I asked Joe's New Balance Outlet about the warranty on these sneakers. They replied that I should call, so I did. The person that I talked to was very clear the New Balance does not warrantee their products. He seemed highly suspect of my complaint, claiming that in all his years, he had never had a single complaint about these shoes. He also stated that it is very reasonable that the shoes should fall apart after just few months of mild use. In deference to Joe's New Balance Outlet, they did offer to replace the sneakers. I declined the replacement, because I did not want to incur additional expense returning the item and then dealing with this problem all over in another few months. I would never consider buying another pair of New Balance 1063 sneakers. I most likely would never consider buying any other New Balance product. If you are a serious runner, I would definitely find another brand to purchase. If you just like to walk, I would wait until these shoes end up in the discount bin at Ross or Marshalls.
